August 2025

Clearer analysis, smarter collaboration, better outcomes.

As we step into August, our mission remains the same: to make Birdie work harder for you, so you can focus on what matters most. This month’s updates were built with simplicity and usability in mind, helping you navigate complex data with less effort and more impact. From easier exploration to richer ways of staying informed, we’re fine-tuning the details that make your everyday work smoother, smarter, and more insightful.

New Calibration Flow (Beta)

We’ve completely redesigned the opportunity calibration flow to give you more control and transparency in how AI interprets your opportunities. The new experience now has three clear steps:

1

Scope filter

Define precisely where an opportunity should apply.

2

Instruction

Refine and iterate on the AI’s instructions for better alignment.

3

Yes examples

Read real examples with reasoning, so you can clearly see the logic behind classifications.

This new flow gives you more ownership and awareness of the process, while still allowing you to send the opportunity to our specialists if you prefer.

Calibrating an opportunity ensures that Birdie’s AI is aligned with your business context. By going through this step, you:

  • Increase accuracy: reduce noise and make insights more reliable.

  • Apply your expertise: combine AI scale with your unique business knowledge.

  • Save time later: a well calibrated opportunity requires fewer adjustments down the line.

  • Build shared understanding: the reasoning examples make it easier for your team to follow and trust the AI’s logic.

Digests

We’re introducing Digests, a simple way to stay on top of the most important signals without needing to log in.

  • Delivered straight to your email or Slack

  • Bring a summary of key insights and examples of feedback from your chosen sources

  • Lightly configurable to fit your needs

Exploration Table – New Look

The Exploration table has a new, cleaner design. While the functionality remains the same, the new layout makes it easier to scan, compare, and focus on what matters and reducing friction in your daily analysis.

Initiatives – Assignees and Custom Status

We’ve made initiatives more flexible for different workflows:

  • External assignees: you can now assign initiatives to people outside Birdie, just by adding their email. (This is for internal tracking; no external notification is sent.)

  • Custom statuses: instead of being limited to “To do, Doing, Done”, organizations can create unlimited statuses, including personalized names and colors.

This means you can adapt initiatives to your own processes, whether that’s aligning with project management tools or reflecting the exact stages your team uses.

What’s Coming Next

Over the past months, we’ve rolled out some of our biggest improvements yet. Looking ahead, our focus will be on refining these new foundations and taking them further, so they deliver even more value to your teams.

  • Quality Monitoring: we’re putting a lot of effort into evolving our new quality monitoring product, helping you measure and improve customer interactions with more depth and flexibility.

  • Initiatives: expect bigger changes that expand how you track, assign, and connect strategic projects.

  • UI Review: we’re working on refining our interface components to make Birdie even smoother and more intuitive to use.

As always, our aim is not only to release new capabilities but to continuously refine them so they grow with your needs.
